In Building DAS

RLS-CMC, Inc. adds value to IDAS projects by providing design and construction expertise resulting in an overall reduction of total cost to the client and expedites completion of the project. Some of the activities that RLS-CMC, Inc. provides for its clients either as the Project General Contractor, or the Clients Owner's Representative are as follows:

Preconstruction Management Activities and Responsibilities

• Pre design survey to assist with the topology and feasibility
• Assist the designer to determine pathways, rooms, cooling and power
• Redline design review with comments
• Develop overall schedule
• Develop contractor scope of work and bid forms
• Facilitate bid walk
• Receive and summarize bid results
• Develop overall construction budget
• Scope review with qualified bids and develop contract documents
• Power survey and summary to determine the Point of Connection (POC) and the availability of backup power feasibility and the size and location of the UPS

Construction Phase - General Construction and Owners Rep. Activities and Responsibilities

• Assist in expediting required building permit(s)
• Obtain design approval by venue owner
• Manage all schedule activities and coordination of trades
• Measure weekly progress and provide report to client and venue
• Manage the construction budget and Work In Process
• Make recommendations for value engineering/cost reduction alternates
• Change Order review and management
• Hold weekly progress and coordination meetings with the venue
• Daily inspections of the work in place and quality control
• Manage owner supplied materials
• Manage hours of work and access to work areas
• Develop 50% and 100% punch list
• Manage documentation and test results
• Provide closeout documents

Commissioning and Testing

• Certified in Anritsu Passive Inter Modulation (PIM) testing and Line Sweep testing
• Expertise in commissioning the following OEM; TE Connectivity, SoLiD Technologies & Corning Mobile Access
