Scenic Highway 35, also referred to as "Skyline Boulevard", is a two-lane road running mostly along the ridge of the Santa Cruz Mountains from Highway 17 to San Francisco at State Route 1. Because of its high elevation and location, it is one of the few places on the southern portion of the San Francisco Peninsula from which the San Francisco Bay and the Pacific Ocean are both visible at the same time.
