Virgin Hotel Las Vegas

RLS-CMC Inc. was hired as an Owner’s Representative to help navigate multiple low-voltage solutions during the rebranding of the Virgin Hotel Las Vegas. While acting as an extension of the ownership team, RLS-CMC created an RFP and solicited offers from all major wireless carriers, neutral-host providers, and managed service providers. RLS worked with the ownership team to provide contract reviews, bid analyses, and in-depth reviews of the multiple technologies being offered.

After the project was awarded, RLS-CMC stepped into the role as Construction Manager and Owner’s Representative (CMOR) to ensure all technologies were being deployed according to the scope of work. This included overseeing the budget, schedule, and quality for the CBRS, public safety DAS, Wi-Fi/GPON, and IPTV installations. RLS coordinated with all construction trades during the remodel to ensure a seamless installation that would not impact the massive undertaking of rebranding an iconic Las Vegas resort.

The 1,600,000 square foot resort included new infrastructure spread out over three hotel towers, expansive outdoor areas, casino spaces, theatres, retail spaces, restaurants, convention areas, concert spaces, and nightclubs. The installed infrastructure included a robust fiber network throughout the property to feed current solutions and to be prepared for any future solutions that may be utilized. The RLS team coordinated with the Clark County Fire Department to ensure all aspects of the public safety installation were in compliance with all local requirements. Additionally, RLS-CMC was able to exceed all Hilton and Virgin brand standards with a focus on building a completely future proof technology destination.
